The Church of the Holy Kings is a temple on Campo Grande in the north of Lisbon. It is a Baroque building with a simple facade and one tower. The interior is covered with vaulted paintings. In the classical equipment, the main altar stands out with a picture showing the adoration of the Magi.
Before 1755, a small chapel of the same name stood in the place of today's church. It was rebuilt thanks to the efforts of Queen Maria. It has a simple, Baroque facade with one square tower and three windows at the height of the first floor. It is crowned with a triangular tympanum. The entrance is surrounded by a simple portal with a triangular cornice.
The interior of the church has neoclassical features. In the presbytery you can see 19th century paintings showing the Passion of the Lord. The coat of arms of Portugal and the royal family were placed on the rainbow arch. Scenes from the life of Jesus are depicted in the side chapels on the walls.
