Kopieniec Wielki is a peak lying between the Olczyska Valley and the Chłabowska Valley. Its height reaches 1,328 m above sea level. It is crowned with two peaks, located approximately 200 m apart. From the top you can admire a panoramic view of almost the entire range of the Tatra Mountains - from Havrania to Osobita.
The slopes of the mountain are covered with limestone plants. There is, among others, Iceberg bitterness, rare in Poland. It grows only in a few places in the Tatra Mountains. Almost below the summit, at an altitude of 1,310 m, a double-leaf orchid was also discovered - it is the highest position of this plant in the whole country.
The mountain lies on the green trail that runs from Toporowa Cyrhla to Jaszczurówka. In the Kopieniec clearing, the trail branches out - one branch continues through a flat clearing, and the other runs through the top of the mountain. The walk from Toporowa Cyrhla to the top of Kopieniec takes about 80 minutes.
