Ceglarski Citadel

Local name: Bastion Ceglarski

Designed by Hans Schneider von Lindau, the bastion was equipped with the casemates, a ravelin and a cavalier. In 1807, as a result of the expansion of the city, the bastion was liquidated and the area was transformed into a lookout hill. After the war, it was given a new name that exists today.

Historic structures forgotten for many years have been neglected after stopping reconstruction works in 1980 and only recently have they been restored, thanks to which they are a testimony to the historical military past of this region.
