The exhibitions presented inside the museum concern the settlement of the Wolinian tribe, as well as the contemporary history of the city and Bugenhagen's life and work. Inside, there are many valuable exhibits, including the late Paleolithic harpoon dated 10,000 BC, a miniature of the Slavic god Świętowit, who had four faces, or a mock-up of the city from 1945.
The first room presents exhibits showing the material culture of Wolin, from the time of the beginning of the stronghold to its downfall. It houses items such as: a city model, a Świętowit figurine, a solar compass, or a fragment of a convict's grave. The second room contains exhibitions presenting the Wolinian economy, which was based on foreign trade.
In the third room, visitors can get acquainted with the oldest traces of man's stay on the local land. The exhibits include, among others, beautiful ornaments, which most probably come from the Bronze Age. Admire here, for example, necklaces, shoulder straps, bracelets and pins.
