The facility is a branch of the Museum of the Kujawy and Dobrzyń Lands in Włocławek, created in 1908. The seat of the Ethnographic Museum is located in a complex of buildings on the Vistula Boulevards and in the historic granary from the mid-nineteenth century. Visitors can see the permanent exhibition "Folk Culture of Kujawy and the Dobrzyń Land".
A village from the turn of the 19th and 20th century was presented here with all the richness of its old customs. You can watch here, among others simple agricultural tools such as harrows, plows, hand drills; fisheries-related items: nets, boat, fish baskets and more. Tourists in the Museum will also see residential interiors of Kuyavian and Dobrzyń, small household appliances and men's and women's costumes.
It is also worth paying attention to the wonderful collection of antique folk sculptures, depicting the Mother of God of Skępska from the shrine in Skępe. Artists also carved images of the Crucified Christ and figures of various saints, e.g. Saint. Antoni Padewski, Saint. John of Nepomuk, Saint. Lawrence.
