Wincenty Witos Museum

Wincenty Witos Museum is located in his family house in Wierzchosławice near Tarnów. It consists of the house from 1818 where the known social activist was born, and the homestead he built. It also presents the biography of Witos and the ethnographic exhibition dedicated to rural life at the turn of the 20th century.

Wincenty Witos, one of the originators of the people's movement, was a prime minister several times during the interwar period. The full equipment of his homestead from the beginning of the 20th century preserved to this day. Furniture, equipment, and tools from the end of the 19th century characteristic for the region of Tarnów are displayed in the house where Witos was born.

The biographic exhibition is located in the barn. There are documents, photographies, and personal souvenirs showing the road Witos came until taking up the most important duties in the country.
