The Redemptorist Mission Museum operates at the basilica and Marian shrine in Tuchów. There are items imported by members of the order working on missions in Argentina, Brazil and Bolivia. At the exhibition you can see clothes, handicrafts, musical instruments, as well as flora and fauna specimens from South America. A mobile year-round nativity scene is also on display in the museum.
The Mission Museum occupies the Column Hall next to the sanctuary. Working for missions in South America for years, members of the congregation bring items from their countries of work. Thanks to this, you can get to know and understand the culture of the people they work with better. The exhibition includes clothing characteristic for the inhabitants of the Andes, Argentine steppes and tropical forests, everyday objects and religious art products.
A mobile year-round Christmas nativity scene is also shown at the Museum. It was built in 1975 by one of the monks, father Kazimierz Zymuła.
