The museum has gathered a collection of over 3,000 items related to music , including elements of the church organ and instruments from around the world. These items come mainly from Europe, Asia and the USA from the 17th century to the present day.
The museum room is located in one of the rooms of a 19th-century manor house. There are three pianos, including two table pianos from the end of the 18th century. The exhibition focuses on three groups: instruments, music-related items and church organs.
The exhibits of the first group include German zither and harmoniums, Italian accordions, French pianos, Russian balalaika, Ukrainian harmonies and American banjos.
The next exhibition includes mainly memorabilia of the non-existent Dozamet brass band in Nowa Sól, including the gala uniform of the orchestra and the baton of the bandmaster.
The exhibition devoted to the church organ is one of the greatest attractions of this place. It presents, among others, wooden and metal pipes, wind braces and elements of various organ structures.
