The Mazurian Museum in Szczytno is a branch of the Olsztyn Museum of Warmia and Mazury. It has been operating since 1945. The town hall is located in the town hall. For visitors there is an exhibition showing the history and customs of Masuria and the history of the region - in total about 4 500 museums can be seen here.
There are several departments in the museum: archeological, ethnographic, artistic-historical, numismatic, natural and cartographic, as well as some valuable scientific aids.
In the town hall tower are organized temporary exhibitions, where you can see photographs documenting the life of the inhabitants of Szczytno and admire the work of regional artists. Additional attractions for visitors are the remains of the Teutonic Castle located on the western side of the courtyard.
