Piast Canal
Local name: Kanał Piastowski
Water channel dug in 1874-1880 in order to improve navigation between Szczecin and the Baltic Sea. As a result of the excavation, the island of Karsibór was created, which was previously a peninsula of the island of Usedom. The channel is 8 km long and almost 11 m deep. There are walking and cycling routes along the shore, or you can go on a tourist cruise on the canal.
