Observation tower

Local name: Wieża widokowa

The lookout tower in Świnoujście is a remnant of the former Lutheran church. On the ground floor and first floor of the building there is a café, while on the top of the tower there is a viewpoint. The building reaches a height of 67 m and has 222 winding stairs to overcome. On each floor there are benches or chairs, where one can relax while climbing.

A magnificent view stretches from the top of the tower. In the first perspective, you can see Świnoujście along with its characteristic places on the island of Uznam: a spa park, a beach, a harbor, a breakwater, and the Stawa Młyny Lighthouse. A little further you can see Świna river, the island of Wolin with a lighthouse, the distant districts of the city. On the northern side dominates the view of the Baltic Sea.

In the longer perspective, you can see Międzyzdroje on the east side, while on the west side you can see the German side of the island of Uznam together with the imperial health resorts, respectively: Alhbeck, Heringsdorf and Bansin. On the south side, there is a view on the Karsibór Island and the Szczecin Lagoon.
