Former U-Boot Dock

The U-boot pool was established in 1944 as a permanent base for military ferries and a stopping place for the U-boats of the 4 school Kriegsmarine flotilla from Szczecin. It is located on the island of Karsibór, at the intersection of Stara Świna and Świna. Next to the pool is the ruin of a workshop hall in which ships calling here were served.
