Sucha Beskidzka Castle

The Renaissance Castle in Sucha Beskidzka is not without a reason called the "Little Wawel". These two places combine great resemblance in architecture and very popular among tourists. There is a Municipal Museum in Sucha Beskidzka Castle.
Suski Castle was built in the 16th century at the foot of Mount Jasień. For centuries it served as the magnate's residence of many famous families, from Castiglione-Suskie, through Komorowskie, Wielkopolska and Branickie, to Tarnowskie.
There are exhibits related to the history and culture of the city and its surroundings, such as the Suchas Beskidzka City Museum. Various archives, documents and photographs, as well as folk costumes.
Right next to the castle there is a park, founded in the 19th century, which is a magnificent decoration of the Renaissance building. In the old building in the southern part of the park - Gardener's House - there is the Museum of the Susie Land.
