St. Florian's Church
Local name: Kościół św. Floriana
Church of Sts. Floriana dates from the beginning of the 19th century. It was built of three types of wood: pine, pine, and larch. Next to the 19th century wooden bell tower and field altar.
The church was built in 1802 in the village of Stany, a dozen kilometers away from Stalowa Wola. When during World War II the inhabitants of the village were displaced and the area was transformed by the Germans into a military training ground, the church was completely transferred to Stalowa Wola. It was thanks to Father Ignacy Skoczyński, the first priest in a city just a few years earlier.
The building is rather small in size - it is 31 meters long, 15 meters wide and 13 meters high (including a 7 meter roof). The side extensions are 22 meters long and 2.5 meters wide.
