Regional Museum
Local name: Muzeum Regionalne
The Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola is housed in a historic neoclassical building called the Lubomirski Palace in Rozwadów. Extremely rich museum collection: dishes and decorations, furniture, costumes, folk art products and approx. 4 thousand the volumes collected in the museum's collection depict the history of the region. In 2007, the Museum was awarded the "Sybilla" Ministerial Award.
The Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola presents a permanent exhibition called "From the history of the Nadsański Region". The creation of Stalowa Wola is presented by the small exhibition "The Birth of Stalowa Wola 1938". Additionally, numerous temporary exhibitions on historical, natural and ethnographic themes are organized. In the Museum's courtyard an outdoor sculpture exhibition entitled "Gallery through Touch" addressed to people with visual impairments.
The Lubomirski Palace in Rozwadów, built between 1782 and 1786, has been the seat of the museum since 2002. The facility is open to visitors and adapted for the disabled.
