Forest Opera

Forest Opera in Sopot is probably the most popular forest amphitheater in Poland. Thanks to the right positioning it has an astounding acoustics what makes it a great place for organizing concerts of Polish and foreign stars and big festivals.

In 1909, when the amphitheater was built, the main repertoire consisted of theater plays, operas and operettas. With the passage of time, Forest Opera started to display more concerts of classical music, blues, rock, pop and also popular summer festivals that had been drawing thousands of music lovers at that time.

Forest Opera is located on the edge of Tricity Landscape Park and takes up 4ha - the scene has over 5 thousand seats. Picturesque tourist trail of the Szymbarskie Hills that leads from Sierakowice to Sopot can be found near the amphitheater.
