Bread Museum

The Bread Museum in Radzionków is the first museum in Poland with such subjects. It was founded by Piotr Mankiewicz, a bread enthusiast and collector of related exhibits. The museum collects and presents visitors with objects that are related to the history of bread in Poland, bread baking technique, as well as the importance of bread in culture and tradition.

The exhibition includes, among others, baking tools and equipment, archival documents, postcards and photos. The curiosities include bread money, which during the Great Depression was used solely to purchase a certain amount of bread.

One of the Museum's aims is to instill respect for bread in young people.
