The Pułtusk Regional Museum is housed in a 16th-century town hall tower built in the Gothic-Renaissance style. Inside there are three permanent exhibitions presenting the history of the city, arts and crafts and meteorites. The latter come from 1868, because it was then that the east of Pułtusk had the largest meteor shower in the history of the world.
Most of the exhibits come from excavations carried out on the Castle Hill. You can see over 6,000 exhibits dated to the 13th and 14th centuries. The exhibitions have been enriched with old maps and images of the city. The museum also presents ethnographic collections. They consist of objects related to the culture of the population that once lived in the Białowieża Forest. There are traditional costumes, ceramics, textiles and folk art.
