Local name: Muzeum Okręgowe

Piła District Museum is located in the 19th-century building which draws inspiration from Italian villa architecture. It collects items related to archeology, ethnography, history, and art. One of the most valuable exhibits is Pietà from the turn of the 19th century, and the oldest item in the museum - the dual purpose dressing table from the 18th century representing French Rococo.

The archeological exhibition "The past of Piła and region" presents traces of humans who inhabited the Netze District already in the late Paleolithic. There are also historical exhibits such as souvenirs and documents showing the history of three nations which existed in this region. The ethnographical collection, on the other hand, presents crafts of the material culture of people who inhabited northern Greater Poland, and also folklore and culture of immigrants.

The exhibition "Furniture and residential interiors since the first half of the 18th century to the beginning of the 20th century - beautiful and useful objects" displays works of Polish and European applied art. They include furniture, ceramics, glass, and art industry. Among the collection of paintings on canvas, glass, and wood, there are also 18th and 19th-century icons.
