Ostrołęka Kurpie Museum of Culture is housed in a 19th century tenement house. The characteristic material culture of the region is represented by more than 14,000 exhibits. You can see. Examples of Kurpie folk sculpture, such as the extraordinary presentation of the Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary here called Trinity. The museum also presents the history of Ostrołęka itself, with particular emphasis on the Battle of Ostroleka. Much attention was paid to the silhouette of Joseph Bem.

The museum was established in 1975, in the neo-classical building of the former post office and until 1998 it functioned as the District Museum. Collections are in ethnographic, archeological, historical, educational and art sections. Over the years, the museum has been refurbished several times and modernized. In addition to exhibitions, he conducts workshops and museum lessons.

The museum's departments are Kurpiowska Homestead in Kadzidle and the Historical Museum in Przasnysz.
