Natural History Museum

In the Museum you can see almost 19,000 botanical, zoological and geological exhibits. The museum collection also includes old German maps. Those interested can take part in museum lessons and natural lectures.

The exhibition includes dermaplastic specimens of reptiles, mammals, birds and fish. The collection includes 900 such objects. In addition to the permanent exhibition "Animals of Warmia and Mazury", temporary exhibitions presenting species of animals from various parts of the world are organized.

A curiosity of the Olsztyn museum is the herbarium of Hans Steffen, a German botanist. In the herbarium, on 460 sheets, various plant specimens were collected. The enthusiasts of the mysterious world of insects will be pleased with the visit to the museum, a rich entomological set will allow them to get to know their kingdom better.
