The gallery, sharing its headquarters with the Planetarium and the "Planeta 11" library, focuses on presenting Polish and foreign contemporary art. Since 1975, he has been organizing a prestigious graphic competition - the Woodcut and Polish Linocut Quadriennial. The gallery exists since 1958.
