Observation deck - stone run
Local name: Platforma widokowa - gołoborza
Covering the slopes of the highest slopes in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, the pigeon is the remnant of the last glaciation that occurred some 2.5 million years ago. These extraordinary places can be admired on the Holy Cross (Lysa Góra) and on Łysica. They are easily accessible and are one of the most important tourist attractions of the region.
Gołoborze is a rock rump that covers the mountains or slopes of the mountains. It was created as a result of frost processes, ie freezing and thawing of rocks. A large concentration of this kind of works is found in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, and especially in their highest part, Łysogóra.
The most famous is the Golobor on the Holy Cross. It is the largest in Central Europe rocky field. It has an area of 3.8 hectares. They can be viewed from a special viewing platform, containing information boards on the rise of the hornbeam and the vegetation that overgrows them. The platform is also a great viewpoint for the area. The second, smaller of the Łysogórskie dołoborzy is located under the peak of Łysica, the highest peak of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains.
