Museum of the Struggle of the Pomeranian Wall
Local name: Muzeum Walk o Wał Pomorski
The museum consists of both exhibitions located inside the building and outdoor exhibition. Inside, exhibits related to the struggle for Polishness, the creation of the Polish People's Army and battles for the Pomeranian Wall were presented. Outside, you can see, among others, the T-34/85 tank or artillery cannons.
The first exhibition located inside shows exhibits related to the struggle for Polishness from the Piast period to the post-partition period. There are such monuments as weapons, documents or paintings. The second exhibition, telling the story of the Polish People's Army, presents many valuable items. You can find here medals and decorations, as well as military banners and photographs.
The last room showing the history of the Pomeranian Wall contains one of the most interesting exhibits - a diorama having 9 meters by 3.3 meters showing the breaking of the embankment in the vicinity of Mirosławiec. The exhibition was enriched with photographs, maps, documents, leaflets, newspapers and a collection of orders.
