The set of antique trams, dating back to the 1960s, courses on route of tram 43 from Łódź to Lutomiersk. All vehicles have characteristic sliding doors and wooden chairs, and the signal for departure is announced by the bell.
The route runs from the loop at Telefoniczna street in Łódź, through Pomorska street and Legions street, up to Konstantynów and Lutomiersk. It is currently the longest route of such type in Poland - it measures nearly 23 km one way, and the journey lasts about 80 minutes. The function of conductors on the tourist route is acted by volunteers - members of the Club of Lovers of Old Trams, who at the same time provide information to travelers about particular elements of the route and the tram set itself. It is also up to them to look after historic vehicles at the Museum Tram Barn Brus.Less
