Museum of the Factory

The Museum of the Factory is located within the Manufaktura complex in Łódź. It shows, in a modern way, the history of the Izrael Poznański's factory empire. There are photos, documents, plans of factories, old machines used in the production of fabrics, as well as samples of fabrics.

The co-creator of the exhibition at the Museum of the Factory is Mirosław Nizio, who worked, among others, at the exhibition of the Warsaw Rising Museum. The exhibition shows the development of the Poznański family factory, technologies used during production, and the life of workers.

Old machines, including looms, films made in the factory complex, documents, and objects used by factory workers are situated there. The exhibition also presents the way that cotton had been going from cultivations in America to a fabric store on one of Łódź streets.
