The Leśniańska Dam is the oldest dam in Poland - its construction started in 1901 and completed in 1904. A few years later, the power plant was put into use. From the dam you can admire a picturesque view of the Leśniański reservoir.
Electricity production and retention are the main tasks of the reservoir and the dam. There are many water equipment rentals, beaches and other water attractions on the banks of the reservoir. There are hiking trails around. The castles of Czocha and Rajsko dominate above the water surface.Less
