Occupying an area. 2.3 ha Arboretum is a park promenade with numerous paths, benches, bridges. On its site, you can admire 250 species of trees and shrubs, among which the most valuable, the Japanese cedar, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, balsam fir, maple, palm, Sequoiadendron giganteum, Amur cork, tulip. Among the shrubs delight beautiful, blooming rhododendrons and azaleas ubarwiające garden in late spring and summer. New foliage complement the growing here for years monuments. Arboretum is located in the municipal forests in the valley of the creek Jadwiżanki on height. Approximately 500 meters above sea level, making it the highest altitude of its kind in the country. Here prevailing favorable climatic and soil conditions conducive to the development of many species of trees and shrubs from around the world. Garden was established in the years 1972-1974, thanks to the great pasjonatowi trees Mieczyslaw Wilczkiewiczowi and is the youngest arboretum in Poland.
