Kacia Nora Executioner Museum presents the history of tortures and rich collection of tools for inflicting pain. The exposition is located in the 15th-century cellar which interior captures the spirit of former torture chambers. The museum consists of around 100 exhibits.
The collection contains tools for punishment for minor crimes, ridiculing, inflicting pain, killing and also getting the truth from a convict or forcing to admit guilt. An example of such tool is heretic's fork - four blades which are fastened to the neck of a victim piercing torso and neck during the slightest move. It was used when someone was accused of magic.Kacia Nora organizes blacksmithing, carpentry, pottery, painting and drawing workshops. If visitors ask the museum's staff can perform a historic play (the museum cooperates with reconstruction groups and knight's brotherhoods).Less
