The private Amber Museum in Krakow was founded on the initiative of Mr. Tomasz Mikołajczyk, the owner of Boruni salons. In it you can see the permanent exhibition realized by the PAN Museum of the Earth from Warsaw - "Amber - its beauty and history". The exhibition consists of natural ambers and amber products such as jewelry and knick knacks.
The Amber Laboratory operates in the museum. There is a professional spectrometer, i.e. a device that allows you to determine the authenticity of amber. If the test is successful, the object brought to the laboratory receives an official certificate.
There is also a shop waiting for guests, where they can stock up on amber souvenirs. In warm months, a summer garden is open, offering coffee and refreshing drinks. The museum reading room encourages you to familiarize yourself with interesting publications.
