The historic stone bridge on Młynówka is one of the most characteristic places in Kłodzko. The gothic structure with arched spans is distinguished by a gallery of statues, the oldest of which - Pieta - comes from 1655. The five remaining statues are Saint Wacław, Saint John Nepomucen, Saint Francis Xavier, Christ on the cross and the Holy Trinity and the crowning of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Currently, the bridge is closed for car traffic, making it an ideal place for walks. The construction of the building dates from the 13th-14th century. The statues, founded by generous and wealthy burghers, date from the 16th to the 18th century. The construction has undergone reconstructions and reinforcements for centuries, and the existing gates have been dismantled. At the beginning of the 20th century, stylish lamps were installed on the bridge. Thanks to the characteristic sculptures on the bridge's balustrade, it is often compared to the Charles Bridge in Prague.Less
