Paderewski's Manor in Kąśna Dolna (8 km from Ciężkowice) is today the only place where the memory of this politician and composer is cultivated in such a comprehensive way. In the nineteenth century manor house, which from 1897 to 1903 belonged to Paderewski reconstruction of the appearance of rooms from the turn of the century. There is also an original piano on which the pianist performed. Dworek is a museum and an intimate concert hall.
Paderewski bought a 19th century manor house in Kąśna Dolne near Ciężkowice in 1897. He was fascinated by the landscape and the house on the hillside, with a porch open to the east. After the reconstruction a one-storey building with a columnar porch topped with an attic was erected. Unfortunately, due to the mismanagement of the administrators in 1903 Paderewski had to sell the manor.
Currently he is under the care of the Tarnowski Music Society. The appearance of the rooms from Paderewski's time was restored. There is a music room, a Chinese room, a master's room and a bedroom. The premises are used for concert purposes. The manor is surrounded by a 16 acre park with a pond.
