Sanctuary in Kalwaria Pacławska consists of the Franciscan monastery, the church, and the pilgrim's house on the hill in Karpaty Wshodnie, at the height of 465 m. The location of the calvary resembles the landscape of Jerusalem. It contains 35 brick and 7 wooden chapels. It is often called Jasna Góra (Luminous Mount) of Podkarpacie.

The construction of the monastery complex started in 1665 on the initiative of Andrzej Maksymilian Fredro. Hunder years later, his work was continued by Szczepan Józef Dwernicki who contributed to the rebuilt and extension of the calvary. Part of the complex including monastery, church, chapels, and cemetery was entered in the register of immovable monuments.

Sanctuary in Kalwaria Pacławska houses the miraculous painting of Mother of God. The first miracle which is said to be caused by it - saving the church from fire - dates back to 1685. Other miracles included numerous cures and saving a Jewish woman from drowning. It was crowned in 1882.
