The seat of the Regional Museum in Jasło is a house donated by Dr. Stanisław Kadyi. Rich collections related to the history, culture and tradition of Jasło and the surrounding area are gathered in the ethnographic and historical department. You can see, among others pagan and Lemko folk costumes, wood carvings, exhibits related to traditional rural crafts, e.g. ceramic, weaving, blacksmith's and carpentry tools and products. The museum also has a collection of paintings, decorations, coins, arts and crafts and military items.
Valuable exhibits include seventeenth-century Sarmatian portraits, fourteenth-century Gothic sculptures, Eagle of the 1st Cavalry Regiment of the Legions, eighteenth-century secretary and tetradrachma of Alexander the Great from 320 BC. Stanisław Kadyi.
The museum was established in 1969, when the PTTK Regional Museum transformed into a state institution.
