Romanesque, brick church of Sts. Hej, according to the inscription placed in it, erected in 1086. Such a date is also reported in the chronicle of Jan Dlugosz. The temple was to be the vote of King Ladislaus Herman for the birth of Boleslaw's son. However, historians believe that the church was built no earlier than in 1138, and its founder was Boleslaw III Krzywousty.
The erected stone is typical of the Romanesque style of a defensive structure: simple, devoid of ornamental walls, round tower, narrow window openings. Many times attacked, it was captured and plundered during the Tatar invasion in 1241. In 1520, he lost the function of the parish church and began to fall into ruin.
The first rehearsal took place at the end of the 18th century. However, in 1793 the church was robbed by the Prussian army and turned into a grain store. Today's form owes to the reconstruction carried out in 1938.
