The Whistle School Museum has its own facility at the Primary School Wincenty Witos in Gwizdały. It was founded in 1999 on the basis of a private collection donated to the school by Witold Tchórzewski. Initially, it had 53 whistles, but since its inception, it has been gradually increasing the collection of its collections.
The museum has whistles made of various materials and for various purposes. The exhibition of several thousand whistles is very diverse. The collection includes, among others, classic whistles, toy whistles, kettle whistles, folk-indulgence whistles, whistles from steam locomotives and musical instruments such as flutes, ocarines, and pipes. The exhibits also include industry whistles - police, military, railway and sports. The oldest museum copy is the pre-war folk league.
Whistles are given in the form of donations or bought back from collectors. They come not only from Poland, but also from Eastern Europe, USA, Australia or Guatemala.
The whistle sound is presented by guides - local volunteers.
