Waligóra - 936 m

Local name: Waligóra - 936 m n.p.m.

Valigora, at 936 m above sea level, is the highest peak of the Stone Mountains in the Middle Sudetes. It is included in the Crown of Poland and Crown of Polish Sudetes. It is a popular tourist destination and there are attractive hiking, biking and skiing routes nearby.

The Three Valleys Pass at the foot of Waligora is a hiking trail. In winter it is a paradise for ski joggers, here Gwarków Run is organized here. Andrzejówka is also nearby.

At the peak of Waligora, you can reach the yellow hiking trail that begins on the Three-Valley Pass and ends in Sokołowsko. Mountain bikers can also be reached here, for them the route leads the trail from Gluszyca to the Three Gorges Pass.

Waligora slopes form magmatic volcanic rocks, commonly called porphyria. They are covered with beech and spruce forest. The southern slope is very gentle, the remaining slopes sharply towards the valleys.
