Located in the small, medieval Teutonic church, the museum presents the rich collection of exhibits related to the history of writing. It also organizes writing, papermaking, and printing workshops.
The museum consists of the scriptorium dedicated to the history of papyrus and parchments, the paper department presenting the history of paper, and the printing department displaying, among others, the 19th-century printing press. Collections are exhibited in the 13th-century building thanks to which visitors can get a sense of the atmosphere in which monks made books.Workshops include writing with a quill, papermaking, and printing certificates.Less
