It is one of several powerful, elaborate castles built by the Teutonic Knights in Poland. This facility provides visitors with many attractions, both inside, outside and in the surrounding area. You can see here, among others castle halls, torture chamber or castle armory. Gniew Castle currently functions as a hotel, but this does not prevent tourists from accessing the monument.
The tourist attraction is located on a hill with a beautiful view of the Vistula valley. It is also a great place for long walks and bike rides that can be rented in the area. The monument is suited not only for adults and youth, but also for the youngest. A playground, a rope park and a climbing wall were created for them.
Inside the castle there is a play corner for children, and for those who want rest and relaxation: a spa, sauna and jacuzzi. Gniew Castle was built after 1290 and expanded in the 14th and 15th centuries. The building has been home to a hotel since 2009.
