Aleja Gwiazd Sportu in Dziwnów runs along a modern sports and entertainment hall. Solid pedestals were placed on both sides of the street, with brass plaques attached with replicas of medals won by Polish athletes. Every year, the Sports Stars Festival takes place here, during which the trophies of subsequent champions are revealed.
The avenue was established in 2002. At that time, replicas of their medals were unveiled by: Irena Szewińska, Andrzej Supron, Bogusław Mamiński and Marian Sypniewski. In later years, more pedestals were placed. Currently, you can admire replicas of awards by Otylia Jędrzejczak, Mariusz Pudzianowski and Mariusz Czerkawski.
In addition to medals, pedestals also include the autographs of athletes. In addition, there are also original quotes, e.g. the words of Kazimierz Górski: "It seems to me that some are born into the violin, others into the uniform, and I was born to football."
