Zagroda Włościańska
Local name: Zagroda Włościańska
This is a former pavilion of the Industrial and Agricultural Exhibition which is part of the Częstochowa Museum. The building was built in 1909 on the model of a typical peasant farm. In addition to visual qualities, temporary exhibitions of ethnographic character are also presented here.
The farm was established according to project design by Zdzisław Kalinowski and Czesław Przybylski. It consists of a one-storey brick building, partly a basement, a loft and a wooden roof, covered with a ceramic tile. After World War II, it functioned as a green park building. It also housed a devotional shop. In 2003, the building underwent a major overhaul, but its historic layout remained unchanged.
