Museum of Iron Ore Mining

Local name: Muzeum Górnictwa Rud Żelaza

The museum, set up in 1989, is housed in underground corridors imitating mines, where mining equipment typical for iron ore mining, with interesting descriptions and old photographs. This institution was entered on the Route of Silesian Technical Monuments Trail.

The corridors serving as the "exhibition halls" of the Iron Ore Mining Museum were built between 1974 and 1976. They include various types of instruments and machines used to exploit iron ores. The collections are supplemented by illustrations and extensive descriptions of the operation of individual machines.
