The castle in Bydlin is located in the Kraków-Częstochowa Jura and belongs to the so-called Eagles' Nests Trail. This is a fourteenth century stronghold built of limestone. It is currently in a state of ruin. Remains of walls and a moat have survived.
The castle in Bydlin was probably built at the beginning of the 14th century. He belonged to knightly families, and later also to noble ones. In the 16th century, the then owners, the Firlejs rebuilt the castle into a church, and during the spread of the Reformation to the Arian church. The building has fallen into ruin since the Swedish invasion.
At present, the only visible remains of the castle are the walls of a rectangular room measuring 24 by 11 meters and a moat. During the archaeological research foundations of the tower and other buildings were found, which are not exposed.
