"Swan Pharmacy" Museum

Collections functioning in one of the oldest in Poland, 150-year-old pharmacy museum is more than 7 000 exhibits thematically related pharmacy over the centuries. The historical part includes five rooms, including the only one in Poland galenic lab intended for the preparation of on-site prescription drugs. In rooms herbalist, recipes, laboratory, library and hallway are presented numerous documents, books, engravings, herbaria, medical instruments and many other exhibits. Besides a real gem, which is a laboratory galene museum can also boast of a collection of hand-written recipes, automatic tabletting Fritz Kilian, and a collection of thirty medical old prints, of which the oldest dates back to 1566 years. Operating today pharmacy was founded by a pharmacist from Ostrow Constantina Augusta Mentzla, while still maintaining its original atmosphere thanks to the stylish décor of the interior of the room sales.
