Historic tram car Herbrand

The historic red tram car Herbrand, set on a preserved section of old rails on 43 Długa Street, is nowadays a Tourist Information Center where anyone can get information about interesting monuments, museum hours or admission prices. Also, in the tram excellent coffee is served and souvenirs from Bydgoszcz are sold.

A characteristic car is not only a place where you can get knowledge, but it is also a monument, a relic of the past which is a symbol of the old public transport that had been running along Długa Street. The Herbrand car is over one hundred years old, it was produced in Cologne in 1898. He had run within the city until 1960, carrying passengers on regular lines.
