Museum of the Busko Land
Local name: Muzeum Ziemi Buskiej
Busko Zdrój Museum is located in the pre-war wooden "Polonia" villa. At several permanent exhibitions, he presents the natural environment of the Busko area, the history of the town and its health resort, as well as its wartime fate. Separate exhibitions are devoted to famous people associated with the spa, among others the poet Wojciech Bellonowi and the opera singer Krystyna Jamroz.
The pre-war villa "Polonia" is a picturesque wooden building with a porch and a sloping roof with a balcony. During World War II the seat of the German security police was located here. For this reason, much of the exhibition is devoted to martyrdom. Busk's fate during the occupation, as well as information about people murdered by the Germans or transported to concentration camps.
In addition to the tragic fate of the war, the museum also presents the history of the spa and its profile. It has also been found in the past, showing archaeological findings from the area. A separate exhibition devoted to the city's image in various forms of art, painting, graphics and sculpture.
