The farm of Felicja Curyłowa in Zalipie is a branch of the Ethnographic Museum in Tarnów. She lived in it the most famous of the Zalipian painters, and the house has repeatedly received the first awards in competitions for the most beautifully painted cottage in Zalipie and the surrounding area. The farm consists of a residential house and an outbuilding. The house is decorated with floral motifs inside, and the outbuilding building outside.
The traditions of decorating huts with floral motifs date back to Powiśle of the 19th century. In the interwar period, Zalipa made one of the officials famous in Krakow, to whom a servant from this village brought a tapestry made in his family home. After World War II, competitions began to be organized for the most beautifully painted house. It was won many times by Felicja Curyłowa. After her death, the farm was taken over by the Ethnographic Museum in Tarnów
The small, wooden Curyłowa cottage is boarded up. Inside, on the whitewashed walls and the stove, you can see beautiful paintings on a floral theme. Currently, Zagroda is undergoing renovation, which will probably last until the end of 2018.
