Museum of Interculturalism in the center of Oslo at Tøyenbekken 5. The creators of the museum confront visitors with multiculturalism that is present in the capital of Norway every day. We find here exhibitions devoted to stereotypes, national minorities or various religions and cultures that we can come across in a huge city.
The Intercultural Museum is part of several institutions subordinate to the Oslo Museum Foundation, which was established in 2006 as an association of the City Museum, Theater Museum and Intercultural Museum. All three museums and the Work Museum established in 2013 are cultural objects dedicated to topics such as the history of Oslo, the history of the theater and cultural diversity in Norway.
The Museum of Interculturalism gathers an international audience around it, offering numerous exhibitions, family events, debates, lectures and walks around the city.
