The Ekebergparken in Oslo is a sculpture park covering an area of over 25 acres. It's located on the slope of Ekeberg. 31 sculptures are placed among the greenery, femininity is the dominant motif. Artists whose works we can see here include: Marina Abramović, Fernando Botero, Auguste Rodin and Auguste Renoir. There is a beautiful view of the countryside from here.
The sculptures include, for example: "Walking Woman" by Sean Henry, "Marilyn" by Richard Hudson, "Venus Victrix" by Auguste Renoir and "Eva" by Auguste Rodin.
The park was founded on the initiative of Christian Ringnes - a known art collector, was opened in 2013. The sculptures were made of various materials, such as bronze, steel, aluminum, and marble. Ekebergparken is owned and financed by the city.
