The Limburg Museum is an unusual place presenting visitors the culture, art, entertainment and customs of the inhabitants of this part of the Netherlands. The exhibition is well adapted to the needs of children. There is an extensive archaeological collection (the oldest works come from the Neolithic) and ethnographic, where you can admire the costumes, vessels, everyday objects, models of settlements and houses, robes and liturgical items.
There is also Historoscoop - the largest multimedia exhibition of the museum. It presents 150,000 years of regional history. Visitors are surrounded on all sides by a panoramic 360-degree screen displaying the history of Limburg. This and other attractions are also possible thanks to a properly adapted building. This is Julianapark, designed by architect Jeanne Dekkers, born in Venlo.
